The ogee garden arch I bought is an elegant addition to the garden. The socket kit is of poor design and almost impossible to use according to the easy sounding instructions. Erecting the arch ended up being a complicated and time consuming job requiring the services of a builder.

Trellis took SO long to put up. We don't consider ourselves bad at this sort of thing but the rods were bent and it jut takes such a long time. While they look nice, I think they probably aren't worth the high price tag.

i have bought two raised beds, one last year and one this. Both had defective parts in the form of badly cracked wooden pieces. Both should have been picked up by quality control but weren't. in addition a base panel was cracked in transit. Although this could be put down to the courier the item was packed in a flimsy bag and it was hardly surprising that it was damaged. in both cases I rang customer services, was asked to send a photo and a replacement was then agreed. In neither case did there seem to be any urgency in putting things right - last year's replacement part was sent by 3day courier which is very poor when I was waiting to complete the job. Harrod's attitude to quality control is perhaps best illustrated by a phrase in the instructions for this year's purchase: "Support rails are safety critical - inspect for imperfections before assembling". Surely they should have been checked for imperfections before being sent out! I don't mind paying a premium price for a premium product but that's not what I got on either occasion. I shall not be buying again.

Tried to order a frame for a pleached tree. I found it difficult to work out what I needed. Other orders for plant supports very good .

You seem to have a problem with your paymengts page. Each of my two orders from you have failed to accept my Mastercard, although its is accepted without problem elsewhere. It has required payment over the phone. Perhaps someone could have a look at this.

Past service has been good however your record-keeping must be poor: I cancelled my order after it was delayed for a third time. I appreciate that companies are having supply issues at times, however, possible delays should be flagged up in advance or the affected products not advertised.

it was bit of a disaster I ordered a raised bed for my granddaughter to be delivered to Dorking It was not delivered when you said it would and you suppled another only for the original order to be derived on the doorstep with nobody in having ben first delivered to an address in East Grinstead The courier you used should sacked

The product is good and they kept me informed about delays. However, the product was time-critical and was VERY delayed and kept being pushed by a week, then another, then another. This drip-feeding meant I was actually poorly informed - had I known how long it would end up being I would have cancelled the order. But it was only ever a week at a time - very frustrating and I felt manipulated.

Parcel was extremely heavy and driver refused to take package into garage that is attached to house Fortunately I had a painter on site who managed to take it in but thought the driver was a “miserable sod” I had no idea when the delivery was expected other than it had been dispatched

We have ordered from Harrod int eh past and everything was fine but this time I was very disappointed - firstly the last supports weren't delivered as requested - we asked the delivery people to leave them outside and they returned them to Harrod for no reason. We then had to wait 6 weeks for replacements and the communication wasn't great to be honest. When they eventually arrived the quality was poor, the supports rusty and I was really disappointed

HH need to be realistic about delivery dates - sending the same promises in the standard email over and over again is not professional. You need to get on top of your suppliers to make them understand the effect on customers - just putting it off another week with the hope of making good is not on. In the end I received - nothing flash, just pieces of round steel bar bent into a hoop.

My horse chestnut tree and I find the price and carriage of your leaf miner moth pheromone extraordinarily high. A little cheaper than the other people’s, but really?

The service was OK but having spent a lot of money my purchase did not arrive on the promised date and I was not informed that my large planters were going to be late. When I chased them up for a new delivery date they said there was a general note about possible late delivery on their website. I pointed out, to a very unapologetic lady, that this was not great. However the products are excellent.
