The metal ground pegs were tough enough to go deep into my stony soil ensuring that the obelisks are rock solid. I have chosen Dance de Feu, a vibrant climbing red rose for each one. “Have only had a short time to try it, but it has given my plants a great start! Usually it’s a constant battle between snails and slugs for my plants and the strulch has allowed the plants to flourish. It has also retained the moisture so well, I haven’t watered this particular bed at all. I still have to see how well it handles the allotment as that is like a desert in the summer and have to be there twice a day to water, so we will see!”

The Lrg Round Topped Hoop (Order No.1174190) was badly bend on arrival but I have been able to utilise it.
