I bought a fruit cage. Delivery took over 4 weeks. Instructions were inadequate Its quality was not what I expected. It is very flimsy and I am having problems with the door already.

Thank you for your order and review. We are very disappointed to learn that the Aluminium Fruit Cage that you ordered did not meet your expectations and the framework to the cage is flimsy. Providing the uprights of the cage are pushed into the ground by 30cm and the framework is erected correctly, it will be sturdy enough. All sizes of cage are thoroughly tested for strength in the design process. We understand that the difficulties you were having with the door of your cage has now been resolved with a member of our Customer Services Team and we thank you once again.

The package included a wrong part which was frustrating and delayed being able to erect the structure which is being used to support plants. BUT once told a new part swiftly arrived - in fact 2 new parts swiftly arrived!

Veg mesh should have been 10mtx4mt received uneven ragged ends that measured 9.3 mt x4mt....

We purchased the metal climbing bean frame recently but had to wait over 6 weeks for delivery. For the first 3 weeks I heard nothing at all - not even a proper acknowledgement of the order - and had to call customer service to be told that there was a delay in sourcing. I then had three successive emails with later and later dates for expected delivery. I haven’t had that kind of experience with Harrod ever before.

My order was received incomplete but was corrected and missing parts were received about one week later.

Sadly this was not the easiest of purchases. I originally placed the order 0n 8th April and was told there was stock due in. I then received an email saying it had been dispatched but only received part of the order with the next part due after 23rd April. Nothing arrived and on 29th April I emailed chasing. I received a reply advising further delays but I should receive them by 7th May. Nothing! The received another email saying 14th May. Nothing!! We then went away for a week and yes....I received an email to say that the order had been dispatched and would be deliverd by DHL! I immediately advised DHL that the order should be left with my neighbour. I then received a photo of the boxes left outside my front door and signed for by US!!! (We are clever considering we were 100 miles away!) After an enormous amount of trouble and neighbours looking everywhere we did find the boxes BUT what a fiasco!!!NOT to be recommended! I am impressed by the items however but you should note that these would only really be best for a new bed - we were fixing it round an existing wooden raised bed which had rotted and as a result couldnt get the strengthening brace in place so it is bowing in the middle.

Whilst most of our products are manufactured by ourselves, regrettably this is a bought in product and we are completely in the hands of our suppliers regarding stock dates. We are also sorry to hear the problems you encountered during the delivery of your goods by one of our carriers. It is frustrating for us when this happens because we cannot directly affect this part of the service when the goods leave our warehouse, but rest assured this will be investigated fully to ensure standards are improved further. We understand that your order has now been delivered and we would like to apologise once again for any inconvenience caused.

Waited way beyond the expected delivery date, although I was kept informed of the delay. A bit disappointed as not the beautiful thick, aged one. I have several peony supports from Harrods Horticulture and they are stunning, discreet and look fabulous in the winter but this one is much thinner metal and I could have purchased similar in any garden centre. Not worth the wait

The Peony Support you ordered is manufactured in-house but unfortunately, we were let down by our suppliers of the raw material which we source externally. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. We are also disappointed to learn that the Peony Support you ordered did not meet your expectations. We do state the thickness of the steel rod used to manufacture our Peony Support is 8mm on our website and this has always been the same size. However, we do have other supports in our range that use a thicker gauge of steel rod. We hope this explanation is of help.

I had to ring on a number of occasions to find out when to expect my delivery. It didn’t arrive on the day I was told, in fact it came in parts on two different days and there were no instructions on how to put my staging together so I also had to request these. The quality looks good but as yet the staging is still in the box as my greenhouse isn’t finished. ( Greenhouse not connected to Harris Horticultural.)

Ordered greenhouse staging. Unfortunately there were parts missing and whilst I appreciate there are problems in the supply chain at the moment the fact that these goods are manufactured & shipped by a third party makes it difficult to resolve. Still awaiting my full order to be delivered.

Very good product, but let down by lack of service. Delivery service very poor. I received a very damaged package, with poor feedback!

The raised bed is excellent. The delivery people are very helpful. Unfortunately our bed was delayed by 6 weeks. Trying to find out what was happening was left to us the customer. Customer services did not proactively let us know the situation. The delay kept increasing with no contact.

There was a long delay in getting our raised beds - over a month. I except that there can be supply problems but although we had updates to begin with, after a while all went silent. It was left to me to chase up the order. As a customer, this didn’t make me feel very important. As always, I am happy with the quality of the product but not with the customer services.

We had an issue with the order, delivery wait was ridiculous, then not all order arrived as expected so had issue with delivery courier. After everything I’m not use the product was worth the wait or price

The netting is good. However, when I telephoned to ask why there was a delay in delivery, they had no idea why it had not been dispatched. The person apologised profusely and redeemed my delivery charge. The netting was then received within an acceptable time.

Can’t fault the helpful customer service team but the goods were wrongly addressed, still used the wrong postcode on a second attempt and it required 3 phone calls to receive what I ordered.

No problem with service - ordered online and eventually recieved product.. My problem is with the complete and utter lack of instructions . Not even a photo or diagram - is it really that hard to include?
