Thank you for your recent order and review. We understand from your comments that you are unhappy with the prices of some of the products. We would like all of our customers to be completely satisfied with every aspect of our service and would like to offer a brief explanation into our pricing structure. Wherever possible, we aim to be competitive when fixing prices on products that other mail order companies of our size stock. We spend a great deal of resources on ensuring we charge a similar price and wherever possible, we try to give our customers an even better deal. We try to source superior products to offer to our customers and also try to research, design and manufacture our own products wherever possible using superior materials. Hopefully this explanation is of help and thank you once again for your order.

Never had a reply to a complaint about poor quality of wood sent to make up manger.I have bought 3 of these the last one was the warped wood and took a lot of putting together .Some splits in wood as well really low standard.About 2weeks ago sent in a question as to do you do spare spikes to keep in place for the cloches I had from you.All mine blew off in the bad weather we have just had.Mayi suggest you sell some longer ones to keep them in the soil and not blow away as mine did.No word came back too me about either I was ignored. Can you do anything about the bad wood I received.Had to plant up so will not be sending it back but still was rubbish quality.Have become a customer of firm but I am beginning to wonder about my next buy.Hope you reply this time. Whilst the product is good, it was disappointing to find that they did not actually have the item in stock and we received three emails confirming delay after delay. When we finally asked for a refund, we received the item. Not a good service although a good product.

The product which you ordered is manufactured in house, but unfortunately, we were let down by our suppliers of the raw material which we source externally. All 16 parts of the delivery were carefully delivered by a knowledgeable driver. Instructions for the 3 compost bins were clear, though construction without an electric drill might have taken days. The final result is a vast improvement on the tip it replaced.

My order was delivered later than was promised in 3 separate deliveries days apart with no promised notifications of the delivery date from the delivering company. The final straw was that two pieces of wood were not included so many weeks after the raised bed was ordered we still cannot use its

I did find the instructions could have been better. Some alternatives need to be considered when you are working in an enclosed area because trying to build the roof first was not really an option so we had to take that in sections once the sides were built. One of the middle/end connectors broke placing this in the roof stakes and no spares are included which I think needs to be added in case you do find a part is broken.

I ordered eight raised beds, which was quite a large order. Having read the reviews, I did expect a delay in delivery, but after five weeks I sent an email to see what was happening and received misleading information, promising delivery for the next day - which went on for over a week. The beds eventually arrived, and I am really pleased with the quality. All the holes were pre-drilled making it very straight forward to build. I also purchased the liners and capping - which really does finish off the bed and make quite a neat job. I would certainly recommend the products, but was not too impressed with the service.

Service and advice is usually excellent but I was wrongly advised when replacing a fruit cage net and bought the wrong size net as a result. as I had opened the net and tried to fit it, I just had to buy another net and received no apology or acknowledgement that I had been wrongly advised. Very disappointing.

The delivery arrived without prior warning. The packaging was inadequate for the weight of the contents and was damaged on arrival. One item was missing but Harrod replaced it as soon as I advised them. Overall, the products are good but let down by the despatch and delivery service.

Whilst I cannot fault the service of the particular member of staff I dealt with in regards to a problem with a recent order, I had to waste a lot of my time trying to resolve the issue, which consisted of replacement of a damaged lid for a propagator, followed by a lengthy wait for a replacement, which also arrived, heavily over packaged, and packed and sent damaged at source.

Sorry, but I can't review as yet. We are in the middle of moving house and so, not using the hot bin at present. Happy to review when I start using it. One thing I have noticed anout the hot-bin, it is very awakward to move with nowhere to grab on or handle to manoeuvre it.

I haven’t received the the item yet so am not sure what rating to give but Harrods have emailed me for a review so I’ll do my best. This was a Christmas present but they gave me plenty of notice that it wouldn’t come until late January so no complaints on that front. I expect the quality will be good but can’t give higher than 3 stars until I get to see the product.

I bought a garden rake which arrived with a broken wooden shaft. There was a very large knot in the wood at the broken point. This should have been spotted either in manufacture or in wrapping. However there has been no problem with getting a replacement which arrived fairly quickly.

Product outstanding I had major problems re delivery of fixings. No post code was included in the delivery address that the courier used. The fixings were delivered to another Laburnum Grove in Sunderland. They eventually turned up 2 weeks later. I’ve purchased 18 raised beds from Harrod over the years and the product and the service have been first class. This latest experience is not one I would wish to repeat.
