“I am sure the fruit cage will look lovely and be very useful once it is finally erected, but the professional garden design team who are trying to put it together tell me that the top netting is very awkward and would be much easier to fit if it were cut in a rectangle shape. In addition, the instructions apparently say that the netting should be put on once the cage is put together, but the men cannot imagine how you would be able to do this from ladders. Hard enough trying to do it on the ground.”

Thank you for your recent order and review regarding your Ogee Arch Fruit Cage. We rely greatly on comments from our customers to drive our policy of continual improvement in both the products we supply and the service we offer and are most grateful for your views. We can confirm that the roof net supplied with this type of cage in a 3.5m x 5.5m rectangular piece of netting. The netting is knotted and pulled into a diamond shape when packed. Once unpacked the meshes to the net will need to be pulled square to get the required size. We advise the net is attached to the cage after the frame is assembled as the roof may be too heavy to lift in one piece. However, the roof can be lifted after the netting has been added if there is more than one person to help. We hope this information is of help to you and thank you once again for both your order and review.

“The product is perfect. The netting was really fine and is doing a good job of keeping the nasties off of my produce. Other allotment holders have mentioned what good quality it is. I bought a long roll and have managed to make my own brassica cage using the netting. I still have plenty left from the roll for other uses. Thank you so much. I am well chuffed with it. The office staff were also very helpful and polite. Couldn't ask for more.”

“The products I bought are good. However I object to the constant stream of emails trying to sell me further products. One on-line catalogue perhaps twice a year is quite sufficient. The more pressure you put on me the less likely I am to buy anything.”

“I have used these for easy access to my raspberries. A little fiddly to fit but not technically difficult. I would recommend asking a friend to help as it's quicker. Once in place they are excellent. Not cheap but good quality. You get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend”
