“Vegetable cage parts were mising but were replaced quickly. The pegs supplies are not long enough to hold the netting securely. Consequently the cage was blown over by the wind, begging the aluminium tubes.”

“I bought the green metal raised bed, two tier, with liner to construct an outdoor tortoise enclosure. I am thrilled. It is fantastic quality, pleasing to look at and straightforward to put together. I would definitely recommend. Although not cheap I do think it is competitively priced and great value for money.”

“The fruit cage was flimsy and was damaged in the first strong winds. The replacement joint was very expensive - bearing in mind the postage.”

Thank you for your review and your order. We are very disappointed to learn that the item you ordered did not meet your expectations. Regrettably our Slot and Lock frameworks are not guaranteed to withstand storm force winds and we do recommend that the netting is removed if these conditions are forecast. To help with cages situated where strong winds are likely we do offer bracing to fix to the framework. “My son gave me some secateurs from Harrod Horticultural as a present and when they arrived the packaging showed that they were for large hands. I checked the Felco website and discovered that they make them for women/ people with small hands - recently discovering that I could get gardening gloves that actually fit (Gold Leaf Tough Touch) has been a breakthrough, so the idea of appropriate size secateurs was encouraging. I rang Harrod Horticultural to ask if I could change them. Helpful lady said no, because HH don't stock them, but she could arrange a refund so I could buy them elsewhere. Perhaps HH could start stocking tools as well as gloves for women/people with small hands? There must be lots of sub-optimally equipped gardeners about!”
