“I have now placed 4 orders with Harrods, all calls to the sales office have been received with a helpful and courteous young lady, who is so willing to assist in a question. My deliveries have been exceptional, in fact next day in 2 instances. Would recommend this company, its FIRST CLASS in all aspects as far as I am concerned. F J Brailey, Odiham Hants.”

“We wanted a special inscription on a trowel and, for various reasons, had left it to the last minute. Staff at Harrod were amazingly helpful on the phone and the trowel arrived in good time. I was extremely grateful.”

“I bought the vintage cage fittings to use as an espalier for existing fruit trees (as illustrated in the catalogue). Unfortunately the uprights flex easily and are not strong enough (however deep you put them in the ground) to withstand any sort of windy conditions. I suspect that these uprights etc work well when made up as a cage but they do not work as a free standing espalier. I was very disappointed as the appearance was just what was wanted. To add to my disappointment sending them back cost me about £35 as I lost the postage on the two delivered packages and had to pay for the courier to collect (at over 2m long and extremely heavy there was no alternative other than courier collect). What a shame.”

“I ordered 5 pairs of gloves, 3 said medium but they were all different sizes. When I rang customer services, although they were friendly, they had poor product knowledge. Over the phone I arranged an exchange. I filled in my order accordingly but I was given a refund instead. Very annoying as these were a gift. I ordered them elsewhere.”

We have investigated this further and can confirm that we do state glove sizes small, medium and large on our website however, the number sizes can vary between styles of gloves. “I ordered a product and was told it would be delivered within four working days, a week later it had not arrived when I contacted you I was told it would be at least another week perhaps longer. I cancelled the order, VERY disappointed”
