“It was a little bit difficult to find what i wanted on line but after a bit i did and then it was easy to order and helpful to get an email to say packet had been posted (it contained something not available to be sent immediately) I have always found harrod good wether on phone or on line”

“Fruit cage kit a great idea, all you need in one pack. all item present and easy to assemble, but grub screws are rubbish, difficult to screw through the plastic and the heads distort with the pressure needed. Otherwise good product, pity it is let down by the smallest component.”

“After the first delivery had been lost in the post the company quickly sent a replacement. Have not had the time to take down the old netting to put up this new one, so I cannot comment about the product except that it looks fine and strong. Many thanks Connie Baker”

“Easy to assemble, though a little surprised it wasn't push to fit. Net clamps a little hard to push into chalky soil.”

“I have recently purchased a fruit cage 'kit', overall very good, all pieces in bag, netting perfect size, all poles right size, corner pieces do what they say. The grub screws proved though, are not good at all! They take a lot of force to get them through the plastic and by this time the heads are ruined! Some extra screws provided, but this does not compensate. This would make me think hard about purchasing again.”

“The product was fine - it was just a pity that the postage came to more than the four corner pieces! I realised afterwards that I should have bought two sets of corners but don't want to pay another lot of postage so won't be making another purchase.”

“Generally OK but I had to return some of the goods because they were defective (plastic connectors for the poles). Concerned and disaapppointed that the delivery company just left the large package on the doorstep rather than ringing our bell - we were in when they left it and they definitely didn't ring our (loud) bell.”

“The aluminium cage went up in four hours, one person with occasional help had no problem. It looks perfectly okay after three weeks and I don't expect any problems with it. If you need to protect brassicas or fruit bushes this is a very good way of doing it.”

“The service and products from Harrod Horticulture and very good. However, my last purchase of plastic clips to hold meshing in place on my high aluminium hoops are not "man enough" for the job. With the slightest breeze they pop off and I am constantly picking them up (when I can find them) and putting them back on.”

“The instruction video is good but could be more detailed especially regarding fixing the netting. It is desirable to fix the clips so that the projecting tag is parallel to the netting and away from the door opening. If the top edge of the side netting is not folded over and clipped down, it snags the roof netting as you try to position and adjust it. It would be helpful if the roof netting bundle indicated which is the longer direction. The door hinges and catch supplied differ from those in the video and must be threaded onto the uprights before fixing the top rail. It is essential to align the hinges to suit the door swing.”
