“I have been trying since last October to build some fruit cages. This company supplies aluminium poles and a supposed system to do so. I bought the aluminium tubes for the polls, and the connectors but they didn't fit the poles when I tried to construct the cage. A few weeks ago I ordered another set of polls of a narrower diameter, and guess what? They are still didn't fit as they were still not correct. When I complained to the compaby about this problem I was contacted within 24 hours, and the whole matter was immediately sorted out , very efficiently and professionally. I am very impressed by the way in which my problem was managed and dealt with. I have now erected the cages to protect my fruit trees from my little garden enemies, and they are exactly what I wanted.”

“I recently bought a lawn scarifier online for £30 and was slightly surprised when £5.90 was added for delivery as this was not clear on the website. It arrived somewhat late because of stock shortage but I was properly informed of this. Unfortunately it broke within minutes of use. I emailed Harrod Horticultural explaining what had happened and asking for full return address plus any forms required. They replied immediately to say a return was not required and they would refund my payment in full, which they did within days. I was not impressed with the scarifier but very impressed with the customer service I received. Harrod Horticultural is a company I truly feel I can trust. V. Martin, Stockport, 30th July 2015”

“I had a bit of a hiccup with the first order, either I got length x width in the wrong order, or Harrods did, Anyway it did not matter as I received 2 pieces 1metre x 1metre square, which wasn't much good. I discussed my second order (to rectify whoever's mistake, and the person taking my call was very helpful and I got the order right this time. Delivery prompt, and the quality was good, easy to fit and instal, so I am sort of happy and will probably order again. Prices in general are way above my pay grade, so I cannot buy everything I would like, but I can dream. Finally, I think I have received too many emails as follow up, I have the catalogue (2 copies, one from each order) and will be able to look through these when I have saved up enough money.”

“They ate made from strong plastic and do hold nets together but I struggled with the larger curved end on butterfly netting as the holes are smaller.”

“I have bought two garden structures from you and the design of both is excellent. However they have both been harder to erect than you suggest. It's only easy if you have compacted hard soil and a level surface. It won't stop me coming back for more, though.”
