“Harrod has been excellent. I started to grow my own last year, and have bought all my raised bedds from Harrod Horticultural. There were some glitches, but they were resolved quickly and efficiently. They are also very responsive; my emails were reply promptly. You have the impression that they want you to succed in your endeavour, as opposed to push their products unto you.”

“Order was delayed (likely from 3rd party supplier), however, I was offered a refund and offer to cancel order. Order wasn’t delayed as long as they estimated and the shepherd hooks were worth the wait. Great quality and stylish for hanging lanterns & bird feeders.”

“Lovely raised beds, expensive but fairly easy to assemble. Poor communication about delivery - the driver did not ring the door bell and then left it in the wrong place so we didn’t initially notice it had even arrived even though we were in at the time. Also 2 planks were missing but arrived separately a few days later.”

“It is proving to be an excellent tool for moving very tough clods of soil with tufts of grass and rocks. It is strong so far and hopefully will last well as it is expensive. It was wrapped up well for delivery.”

“The compost bins were well designed and easy to assemble and they look good. However, the instructions need to emphasise the importance of centralising/lining up the plates on the wooden planks otherwise it become harder to insert and remove planks. Also the quality of the materials was not good - warped and knotted planks were common and two of my uprights were missing a large chunk of wood (knots). These compost heaps will not last beyond 10 years and that is not good.”

“Pleased with the new round Arches, the quaility is excellent, but the fitting of them is not at all easy, especially if using the metal underground fitting posts as we did. Keeping them straight is extremely difficult, you do need a sledge hammer and a very stong man! That would be my advice. My landscape gardener fitted them for me in the end and even he had problems.”

“Great product, I’d like to say easy to put together, but as my son put it together for me, I can’t really comment. He seemed to make light work of it, though, and all the parts were there. Service from Harrods good, but not entirely pleased with the delivery. Plenty of notification about when it was arriving, and there were two of us at home, but nobody rang the doorbell and the various components were just left on the doorstep in the rain!”

“I wanted some good fixings for a fruit cage for a customer, those from Harrod Horticultural were excellent. Strong enough to work with single handedly, easily mounted and dismounted as necessary, and a good range offering joint I needed. Thank you, I wasted money on other fixings that proved totally impractical.”

“I’m very pleased with the raised beds… however. The 5mm tolerance on all the wood supplies means on a large scale project - we can get discrepancies of up to 2cm - which on a project of 6 large raised beds isn’t what I was after. If someone could call me to discuss this. I’d appreciate that. Alex”
