“The Harrod trellis product is very good quality and I will buy from Harrod again on the strength of that alone. However, what prevents me awarding 5 stars is that the delivery charge was incorrectly shown in the brochure, and when I telephoned to query that, the person I spoke to was unable to help because it was a Saturday.”

“Good communication and speedy delivery. Only negative was that courier delivered before Harrod advised. Luckily we were home or an expensive item would have been left outside the house as happened before.”

“Once I placed the order I received confirmation but then nothing much else. I had to keep checking back to see when the item should be delivered. Delivery was slow! The item itself is excellent. I was daunted as I have no one to help me assemble it but I managed it - the instructions are not the most user friendly but I worked them out. Overall very pleased and hope they support the raspberries as they are intended! VERY expensive though so it had better last!!!!!”

“Brochure, ordering and delivery were very good. We have struggled with erection of our fruit frame. It looks so simple but we would have liked more detailed instructions, could have saved a few tempers!. We got there in the end and it looks good .”

“The goods appear to be of good quality, however the carrot fly barrier is set to the height of the carrot fly's flight path. Whereas it really needs to be a couple of inches higher, consequently my carrots were savaged by carrot fly! I plan to sew on an extension to the barrier from an old sheet this year to avoid this pest. The clips on the large hoops are not very good and they ping off at the slightest wind. Being black, it is difficult to find them. My partner has 3D printed some better ones that are slightly more rounded in bright red plastic so we can find them after wind!”

“Ordered a 3 tier 4'x6' Superior raised bed with capping and liner. This is the 13th raised bed ordered over the last 12 years or so. The website and ordering process is simple and lots of options to choose from. Products seem overly priced (and increased 20% over the pandemic) but proceeded based on prior experience. Shipping and delivery prompt (within a week of ordering - most of the time with the courier). On arrival, a significant number of issues with the quality of the order - split corner post, badly damaged planks (prior to packing, so not a transit issue), incorrect fixing brackets, capping badly splintered and finished (where your hands go on the finished product). I get that it is wood and it will have natural defects, but there was an apparent lack of quality control and for the best part of £600 I would expect much better. On the positive side, the customer support team was very helpful in getting this sorted and replacements dispatched. Can only think that an additional few minutes checking the order was up to standard on packing would save frustration with the customer, time spent with customer service and the additional costs incurred by HH in correcting the issue. Advice is that the product (when correct) is very good and customer service excellent - just check the contents thoroughly on arrival for defects or issues.”
