This was a gift for someone so I can't give an opinion on how it performed but it looked very good.

Ordered leather gardening gauntlets for my husband which sadly arrived with a biro streak across one of the gloves. I decided to keep them as quality was good and item had arrived promptly. I wanted a further 2 pairs for Christmas gifts, so I emailed Harrod Horticultural to request that this second order would arrive in perfect condition. I was assured that they would be checked before being despatched, and the items arrived promptly and in perfect condition. My enquiry was dealt with efficiently and courteously.

The shape of this tool is an excellent idea. It is light weight which helps in heavy soil. The only criticism is a small one - it's a bit rough around the edges which I would not expect for a tool of this quality and price.

Excellent product. Sturdily made and made short work of juicing our apples. Only downside is the crusher does not sit inside the top of the press so has to be steadied with one hand whilst turning the wheel. It has wooden blocks that look like they should go inside the rim of the press but its the wrong size. Also when we unwrapped the crusher it had been packed on top of the wheel with no packaging between. This resulted in the crusher taking big chunks of paint off of the wheel in transit. Had to buy muslin bags separately from another company as Harrod Horticultural said they don't sell press and accessories anymore! You'd think a bag would be included.

Although pleased overall with the vegetable cages that I have used for two seasons, the connectors are the weak link and I am having to replace half of them already.

It was bought as a Christmas gift, so I cannot comment on the boot cleaner's efficiency but it struck me as a sturdy, attractive item to have outside ones back door!

It has worked really well, generating a temperature in the 40's. One thing I wasn't prepared for is having to keep the compost dry by mixing it with shredded paper or cardboard (as the instructions say). I don't have a paper shredder, and anyway prefer to make organic compost out of natural materials. Bleached paper contains dioxans, so it isn't suitable for organic compost. Instead of using paper, I have dried off shredded hedge clippings and domestic compost in a shed first in order to get them dry enough to put in the composter. A second niggle is that the composter could have been made a bit more rain proof. My composter is in a very exposed position and during the last few weeks there has been almost horizontal driving rain. I suspect that some rain might have got under the lid and dampened the compost. I've arranged some polythene sheeting to deflect the worst of it. Apart from that, I'm glad I bought it, as the insulation really works even in cold weather.

Raspberry beetle trap arrived soon after I ordered it. Bit of a fiddle assembling it but managed it in the end. Came with two lures (most other companies only include one). No idea whether it will work as won't be in use til next spring.

Bought as present so cannot attest to quality, but recipient is happy.

I have now had a total of 6 raised bed kits from the "Allotment" range, they are good but have some issues, The corner posts are undersize, so the pre-drilled holes in the side planks do not line up in the centre of the post, and the corner posts vary in size so that sometimes the screw holes are very close to the edge of the post. In the case of a 6 foot long raised bed, the assembly diagram shows an intermediate post as well as the corner post, but this is not suppied, and is necessary to support the capping strip. Each kit includes an ample supply of good screws. Kit deliveries are fairly quick, and customer services are excellent.

I bought one of the wheelbarrows sold by Harrods and I am very pleased with my purchase, my reason for a four star only was the following, otherwise I would defineately have given a five. The two things I would comment on which, when you think about it, may not affect many folk. I assembled a Harrods chicken and fruit cage and, as I went to wheel the barrow up the path between them, much to my horror, the wheelbarrow is a tad too wide - my problem obviously but.worth mentioning if you might have the same problem. The other thing I have noticed is where the holes for the heavier version are, it has already started to rust. I don't think it will be a problem though. Can I suggest supplying rubber or plastic plugs to close off the holes which would then completely eradicate the problem. Thanks again for an excellent product

Excellent service: ordered over the phone; delivery within days; left where I requested. Flexible glass cleaner was fairly easy to assemble and exactly as described. I bought it principally for the (small) conservatory roof. The angle of the roof still means a step ladder is needed and I find the extended unit a little heavy. However the brush head cleans well and it it quite easy to manage. (my husband is better at it than I am!)

The cloches were easy to assemble and seem sturdy. As other reviewers have commented, the ends are very flimsy. I have used the cloches without the end pieces so far.

The order arrived in plenty of time. There was a little damage due to carelessness by the courier. I informed Harrods and they were very good. I won't actually build my arch until the Spring but it seems very well made with good strong materials.
