Ordered raised beds at the weekend, now Friday (5 full working days later) still not delivered. According to HH may be delivered Monday... delivery estimate/expectation of 48hrs after despatch is clearly not to be relied on. Unable to review the quality of the beds (see above).

We would allow up to three working days for delivery once goods have left our warehouse. We have contacted our carriers, who have advised that your order is out for delivery on Monday. Happy with the items I purchased - the problem being that only half the order was delivered in the expected time frame. The rest of the order still has not been delivered (over 5 weeks now). I have received emailed apologies relating to the delay (delivery dates have been altered 2 or 3 times now, with the latest delivery expected yesterday. So my plant season for which these items were purchased is almost over and I have received only half my order.

When i first ordered a fruit cage i said it would be used for chickens and therefore needed to be fox proof , i was told it was and that it was ordered and would arrive in time for our moving to a new house . We moved and the cage had not arrived I phoned again and was told the cage was in the warehouse still ! i had 16 hens and no where to put them ! i pushed for delivery asap and the helpful lady had it sent the next day - Thanks !! - BUT original lady had told me it was fox proof and its not it comes with netting so not fox proof - apparently you pay extra for chicken wire option ! i was not told this ! we built the pen using the fruit cage netting as needed a pen and as the netting was tied to the frame it all ripped ! even just tying it on loosley ..... Really dissapointed with this product and the original customer service .

Ordered butterfly netting and after three weeks still didn't have in stock . Cancelled my order . Went to knowledge nets and was delivered in two days .

Up to today, I have not received my purchase of the nematoads that I ordered. I was told that they would be dispatched within 3 to 5 working days. I e-mailed the company and was told it would be August, surely I should have been told this when I ordered. Not impressed

Thank you for your order and review. Our Nemasys Leatherjacket Killer is a seasonal product as is not despatched until late August. This is when the Leather Jacket Larvae is active in the soil. We do advise this information on both our website and in our catalogue however, understand that you were not advised of this when you order was placed. Nightmare to put up fruit cage!! Customers need to be warned when ordering that they can't put this up by yourself unless you want to slash your wrists ! Not good for elderlys who just want to keep birds off fruit trees. Not impressed.

We do state in the instructions that two or more people will be required to construct the cage. However, we understand that this information is not visible in our catalogue or on our website. Order was delivered extremely quickly but I am not impressed with how the item was packaged which resulted in the packet arriving bashed, split open and the contents (powder) was all over the inside of the thin plastic envelope. Due to the amount you charge for delivery to my postcode (because I apparently live so far away from civilization (AB51)), I was forced to have the order delivered to a relative and by the time I collected it I was too late to return it and I don't see why I should have to pay for that anyway so I doubt I will be ordering anything again unless you realise that Inverurie is not Outer Mongolia and update your courier charges and start packaging items properly.

I ordered trellis and paid £24 for postage. Didn't arrive and got phone call two weeks later to say I would have to pay £66 as carriers wouldn't deliver to n. Ireland. I feel this should have been pointed out when I ordered. I ended up speaking to a manager who was very apologetic and after a lot of talking he agreed to pay £20. He said the trellis would have to be wrapped by yourselves. The trellis arrived unwrapped!!!!

Regrettably, items being delivered to Northern Ireland do incur a further charge, which is passed on by the suppliers of the trellis. We are also sorry that the trellis arrived unwrapped. After careful consideration and with advice from our suppliers, we decided it would be best to deliver this without wrapping so our carriers would take more care of the goods. Was not very impressed with my purchase in fact I did return it mainly because I felt the 13mm aluminium tubes were spaced to far apart to be strong. Misled by photograph on website. Postage was not refunded as promised.

Thank you for your review. We are very disappointed to learn that the items you ordered did not meet your expectations. We can confirm that all of our Vegetable Cages are thoroughly tested at all sizes. The maximum spacing between uprights is 3m before an intermediate upright is added. We are sorry to hear you felt mislead by our photograph of the cage and will look into this with the relevant department to see if this information can be made clearer. We can confirm that your postage cost has now been refunded back to you and would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Order eventually arrived with the wrong instructions, took two phone calls to get the correct ones. Once built it looks great, but could have done with better service.

wrong parts , poor quality of one part & poor help from sales team meaning it took 4 seperate orders before I got the correct parts and wasted lots of my time to get there.

I recently ordered a set of 3 cloches from Harrod Horticulture. The proposed delivery dates were changed twice and then turned up without notice. They are not as depicted in the catalogue which suggests a change of supplier, hence the delay in despatch. They were not easy to put together, my daughter cutting her hand in the process, and the resulting product is not of good quality. Certainly not value for money. This was a disappointing experience which I shall not be repeating.

The disappointment with this product lies in the ground pegs. The teeth of the pegs are sized to suit the netting and are therefore quite small. It does not take a lot to unclip the netting from the pegs. The next step is to put tension on the net to ensure the nets meshes stay clipped. However put too much tension and the feature of this product comes into play. The net unclips from the frame (as it is designed to do). Our resolution was to use conventional net pegs and so far the net has stayed in place.

We had a problem with the door to our poultry cage and requested and extra latch to make it secure... Bearing in mind we had spent around £500, it would have been very nice if this had just been popped in the post for us as requested. Instead there were many phone calls over several days, requests for photos, etc and the whole thing dragged on even though we were desperate to get the run safe for our chickens. It was sent in the end but felt like a painful process. I now remember Harrod for being pedantic and slow, rather than quick and helpful!

The large water tank arrived a day early so I was not present to receive it. It was only by chance that my wife had just arrived home. I had made arrangements to be at home on the day it was due to be delivered due to its size, while it is a bonus to receive goods early in this particular case it would have been better if the item was delivered on the day specified.
