Disappointed as the instructions were unclear and there was a leg missing from the delivery although the packing note said all the pieces were there. Had to make one up.

I needed a plant support for a new crop of Dahlias, unfortunately I misread the dimensions and ordered one far bigger than required. I had to return it to Harrod

My son gave me some secateurs from Harrod Horticultural as a present and when they arrived the packaging showed that they were for large hands. I checked the Felco website and discovered that they make them for women/ people with small hands - recently discovering that I could get gardening gloves that actually fit (Gold Leaf Tough Touch) has been a breakthrough, so the idea of appropriate size secateurs was encouraging. I rang Harrod Horticultural to ask if I could change them. Helpful lady said no, because HH don't stock them, but she could arrange a refund so I could buy them elsewhere. Perhaps HH could start stocking tools as well as gloves for women/people with small hands? There must be lots of sub-optimally equipped gardeners about!

Hardly happy. Order was delayed for some time owing to high demand and then being out of stock. When goods arrived, parts were missing. Complained. Sympathetic response to missing components; offer to reimburse delivery charges accepted.

Problems with delivery were not handled promptly, causing inconvenience. Since placing the order I seem to be being bombarded with unsolicited emails offering products I have not requested. I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that I have received at least one email per day since placing my order.

DESPITE THE DELAY IN DISPATCH TO US THE GOODS DID ARRIVE IN REASONABLE CONDITION EXCEPT FOR SOME PAINT CHIPPING OFF FIVE AREAS INCLUDING THREE CORNERS AND TWO PATCHES ON EDGES. I SUGGEST YOU IMPROVE YOUR PACKAGING WITH PROTECTIVE CORNER PIECES AT LEAST AT THE 3 SURFACE CORNERS. THE RAISED BEDS LOOK GREAT AND WE HOPE THEY STAY THAT WAY.

The assumption that I was "made happy" is unfortunate. The plants arrived 3 weeks after the order was placed and it is a very average selection. Had I realised they were to be supplied by Rocket gardens, I could have ordered directly from the supplier and had a more suitable collection.

Harrod only made me partly happy. The instruction to assemble the bean support system were abysmal, I believe this has been a long standing complaint and it is about time Harrod did something about it, The structure is now up and I will be waiting to see if it lives up to expectations. I hope it does.

Everything was fine till I discovered the carriage was going to be more than the total cost of the order half the order then cancelled

Thank you for your order and review. You comment on the cost of delivering an order outside of the UK mainland. We would like to explain the situation regarding delivery and prices across the country. As the range of products we manufacture and supply is so diverse in size and shape, we have to rely on couriers, to deliver the vast majority of our orders. To calculate their delivery tariff our couriers split the country into various zones governed by postcodes and unfortunately, delivery to some areas attracts an extra charge. We realise this is not an ideal situation but as our trade increases, we hope to be able to reduce this charge so deliveries to the whole of the UK mainland cost exactly the same. If it is any consolation, we do not add a surcharge to the figure our couriers charge us; in fact, we subsidise the £15.95 delivery cost on every order. Wherever possible, we try to send our products by Royal Mail or similar postal services but, as we mentioned above, the size, shape and weight of many of our products precludes this. We hope this is of help to you and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Nice item and well priced BUT.... If an item is out of stock you need to tell the customer before purchase, it's unfair to do it afterwards. You did this to me and my wife got her Easter present over three weeks late. You will lose business this way. It's a shame because I like your company otherwise and hope you take this feedback in the honest spirit it's intended. Thank you

The product was good but the website said they could provide a bespoke service for the cage and when it was requested they said it was not available, i appreciate it was easy for me to cut to size but why advertise the fact that they did bespoke.

finished product looks good, seems sturdy-ish, not too difficult to assemble, instructions should be tested for comprehension-but it is very difficult to assemble without dropping any nuts- a few extra would have made the experience far more enjoyable.

Products good but unfortunately inadequately wrapped and badly damaged, presumably by the courier, on arrival. Excellent service when company informed of damage, but item out of stock for replacement!

Not v happy as we have had a significant delay on the metal raised beds order. Good communication initially but nothing now the due date is imminent

Product generally good and sturdy, but as per previous customer, help and a power drill needed to assemble. However, carelessness in preparation impacted appearance. For example, predrilled marker holes in the wrong places for my assembly and appalling large inked stamps on the outside surface of the product meant I either had to return the product for a new one or accept a spoiled appearance and stain over it. This was the same on both raised bed tables. I consider this is not what should be expected at £200 per product and I am unlikely to use Harrods again as a result.
