“I placed an order for plants, but nothing happened for several weeks. I tried to find out what had happened to my order by calling customer services - was cut off after the phone rang unanswered for 2 minutes. Sent an email and got 2 automated responses saying they would contact me within 24 hours. Guess what... no contact. A few days later I got am email from the plant suppliers saying my order would be with me shortly. Several days later it turned up. Plants are mostly OK, have had a couple of fatalities due to damage and they were all very limp but the others are recovering. Would not recommend or use again.”

Thank you for your review and order. Firstly, please accept the delay with despatch of your plants. Our Nursery will only send plants once they are strong enough to survive the journey and we disappointed to hear that some plants arrived damaged. “I ordered your Superior metal raised beds. The arrived in good time and the driver was very helpful in delivering to the back garden. excellent, well constructed product ----- but very difficult to put together as the holes and bolts were all located within the internal structure.”

“I purchased the aluminium fruit cage. We found it very easy to install but the instructions were a little difficult to understand. However, once we started the cage was up in a very short time. The delivery and ordering was very easy and am very pleased with the item.”

“I ordered a pair of lawn edging shears with telescopic arms, as per the picture on the website. I was sent a pair with fixed arms. It turned out the picture and description had not been updated to reflect actual stock. The only good thing was that I eventually received a small discount.”

“Ordered extra metal hops to complete a cover for my raised beds. These are very well made and strong enough for any storm. lerning to pay more for better quality products and Harrod have a good product. Service was fast and as promised and the packing protects the products well. Will use them again.”

“I ordered a number of organic vegetable and herb plants and was disappointed that they took over a month to arrive — from the nurseries in Cornwall. I was perhaps too impatient. However, the plants were good and strong when they did arrive, and they were all well packed and in good condition (with no plastic, well done). I also had polite and patient communication during the process from Harrod's customer team.”
