“Website and product description was very clear. I was informed, shortly after placing my order that it was not in stock and the company offered me a refund. I opted to wait until the item came into stock and it arrived a short time later. I am very happy with my purchase”

“I have been pleased with the 2 tier shelving which has fitted together well although quite time consuming taking me over 4 hours to put together .Is there no way it can be flat packed partially completed to save much of the build time ? The stand for the green potting tray is rather flimsy and wobbles badly .Could it be better braced to make it more stable .I will have to attach it somehow to the greenhouse wall to stop it rocking . Definitely needs reinforcement if it is a stand alone item .”

“order some garden stakes for supporting plants. Arrived quickly, well packaged, look to be just what I ordered and were the best value I could find. Can't yet comment on how well they'll last, but quality of the product looks fine on first inspection.”

“Both parcels arrived promptly and the person I spoke to on the phone the second time was very helpful. For no obvious reason I couldn't order on line the second time. It denied I had been a customer before though only a week or two had passed since my previous order. I would have liked some instructions with the yellow strips I ordered to try and deal with white fly I didn't know where at all to hang them and they have been only partially helpful. The wool pellets for the slugs and snails are brilliant and the instructions clear and concise.”

“Ordered a Giant Self-watering Tray to add to one I've had for years. It was out of stock but came back in very quickly, and was delivered next day (the extra cost I'd paid for next day delivery refunded – thank you). My only disappointment is that the aluminium inserts are now made of thinner metal, and only two sides rest on the tray (instead of all 4 sides), so they sag when loaded with heavy plants in pots. I've had to prop them up on bits of polystyrene. Apart from that I'm very pleased with my order.”

“Good products but the delivery time was longer this time. Usually I don't have to contact Harrod to find out when I can expect my order delivery. I was supposed to have a free piece of netting but it did not arrive!”

“This is a well made useful product, in that you can move it around easily, but it only stands 1.25m high. It does say this in the catalogue, but I missed it. My hens don't have their wings clipped and just flew right over it, so I had to send it back. If the product designers can come up with something similar but that could support a higher net and perhaps a celing net too, that would be perfect.”

“Great quality products, delivered promptly. I would like a discount when I buy several of something. I marked you down a star because a couple of email queries have been ignored which has made me feel that once the sale is made, you don't mind too much about the after sales service. “My automatic window device in my greenhouse had broken so I was hoping that your replacement would use the same bolt holes etc. However I needed to drill out new bolt holes which was a bit annoying. However now that it is in place it is working well. It therefore would have been useful to have seen measurements for fixing the unit.”

“I bought a fruit/veg cage and netting much less neat than it looks in the photo. Also, asked for it to be left in porch if no answer. Actually delivered a few doors away (address was correct!) and left outdoors (with clear instructions to leave in porch). Fortunately was not stolen as left in clear view of passers by and kindly neighbour carried it to us”
