“I found the fruit cage frame lived up to my expectations as to quality and value for money however, the netting supplied with it a massive let down. HH state the netting as being ‘extra heavy duty’ this is simply not the case as I found out to my cost. I needed the netting to keep out squirrels, as they stated extra heavy duty I was confident this would do the trick it failed miserably, squirrels chewed their way in and I lost most of my veg. If the netting had limitations then HH should be more transparent and indicate as such. They also state ‘anti- bird roof netting’ again this is misleading this may applie to small birds but certainly not larger birds such as magpies, crows, two of the most commonest birds in the UK. I spoke to Jon Cooper expressing my concerns and found him to be arrogant and patronising, constantly interrupting me when trying to put across my complaint. The netting failed to live up to my expectations and feel I’ve been mis-sold the item by inaccurate advertising. I’m now taking this up with Trading Standards, I regret having done business with HH they maybe okay with other products, where netting is needed take my advice and shop elsewhere!”

“The quality is exceptional as always; my only minor gripe is that I hadn’t grasped that my trough had no base at all unless I bought it as a separate item. I’d thought the base was effectively a stand to raise it off the ground slightly. But it’s ok as it is....”

“I purchased a weed flame burner and 6 gas canisters. The advertised canisters were replaced with smaller cans without my knowledge but I was charged for the larger cans. Harrod reimbursed me once I had made a complaint”
