“These are really good quality raised beds and look really good. Only issue with them is the quality of the screw as you have to be very careful not to strip the screw head which happened on several and I had to hammer them in. Bought better quality screws in the end which went straight in no problem.”

“Excellent products. Worth paying a little extra for the higher quality. Very satisfied with my purchases of the Autumn Raspberry frame, obelisk and trumpet supports. Have suggested they improve the packaging (as one set of supports were damaged in transit) and improve delivery reliability. Other than that can heartily recommend.”

“The delivery was quick and the packet was small enough to fit through the letter box. The powder is easy to mix. Coverage is good even though I made certain not just to paint it on but to ensure the wood looked wet. I have stored the excess on a 5 litre plastic container. When applying do make sure to stir frequently as this is more of a suspension than a solution. i have used it to coat several large vegetable troughs and planters before assembly as I am going for "waist high" gardening and having invested a lot of money I don't wnat to do the whole thing again in three years time and needed a treatment that was safe with vegetables. I used a wide bowl when applying so that I could dip the feet of any structure and the cross grain at the end of boards. As others have said, it seems to mature over a couple of weeks. The proof will be over the years.”

“The goods arrived in reasonable time, but were left on the door step of our neighbour though we were at home, and in any case would have been safer in our enclosed porch. Reporting this to Harrod, the response was not very satisfactory and did not convince us it would be investigated. Additionally the tubing containing uprights for a fruit frame, was broken, but fortunately the contents were intact. It was a struggle getting plastic tubing over metal tubing, but otherwise the frame has gone together as it should. We have not yet dealt with the netting.”

“Thought this product wouldn't work when I first mixed it up as it was just like cold tea, brown and like water! But a few days later my 4 boxes that I had painted started to go grey. Don't know why, but all 4 are different shades and feel that I might have to re-paint 3 of them again to go a bit darker and match the first box I done. Good product though and goes a long way. Sometimes a bit hard to see which bits you've done as it doesn't really have a colour once applied so you have to go by what's wet.”

“Customer service excellent. If product not available e-mails are promptly answered & followed by telephone call to inform about the availability. Nematodes for the Vine weevil are good & keep these pests under control. I have been using them ( in Spring & Autumn ) for several years to keep my Lilies, Begonias, & other Annuals Vine weevil free.”

“The raspberry support is solid and well made and looks as though it will last a long time. It was easy to put up, in fact easier than we thought from reading the instructions, except for the wire which we found very difficult to cut, even with wire cutters and a hacksaw. The clip to hold the wire is very clever and easy to use, so overall we would recommend this to anyone looking for a strong and solid support for their raspberry canes. We're looking forward to being able to pick all our raspberries this year, instead of having to pick the wet canes out of the mud!”

“Generally a very good product. Delivered promptly and quite well packaged although there had been some slight superficial damage to some pieces of timber in transit. All parts required were present and assembly instructions were very thorough. The assembled raised beds look very good. My one significant reservation is that the corner posts, which are an integral part of the structure, were not of higher quality. Posts with a larger cross section and more close-grained wood would not have split when multiple screws are driven into them, as the construction method requires. The products I bought were not cheap; in all other respects they were very good and it's a pity they were slightly let down by this feature.”

“I am pleased overall with the manger. But very sad that when my husband put it together that the top 6 inch plank that is the length of the top, is a very different colour than the rest of the wood. Most of it is a dull brown but the top bit is pale cream and I do wonder if it has been treated as the rest has been.”

“The slot and lock cloche system is a good idea but the actual use of the covers is difficult due the ends not being tied to the frame so that the zips could give good access. In fact one end of cover is tied to frame the zip that end no good and the difficult as end falls off in fact it is easiest to pick whole lot so zips a waste of time.”

“Service from you company very good BUT service from carrier very poor. The carrier totally failed to deliver on the day when then said they would - let alone within the delivery slot; they didn't contact that day to say sorry or when would be delivered; they failed to meet the delivery slot then [eventually] told me it would be on the next day - although it was delivered later the second day. I would suggest finding another carrier as I have better things to do than wait in for days on end hoping the delivery will be made.”

“A well constructed kit that allowed us to make what we have always wanted a great raised bed to grow our vegetables, while still looking like a smart addition to our small urban garden. Construction was fairly easy but a good drill and screwdriver is essential.”
