“I haven’t received the the item yet so am not sure what rating to give but Harrods have emailed me for a review so I’ll do my best. This was a Christmas present but they gave me plenty of notice that it wouldn’t come until late January so no complaints on that front. I expect the quality will be good but can’t give higher than 3 stars until I get to see the product.”

“Still waiting! I ordered a geo propogator as a Christmas gift. I ordered it well before Christmas but here we are on the 16th January 2021 still waiting! To be fair, I’ve had several emails from HH informing me that my order is delayed and I do appreciate that these are exceptional times and that stuff being imported may be delayed. (If indeed these propogators are coming from overseas). Estimated delivery in now the end of Jan. So I can’t review the product as I’m still waiting!”

“Excellent service. I was disappointed that the Burgon and Ball scoop I ordered for my husband was out of stock for Christmas but I was most impressed with the caring and regular emails l I received keeping me up to date with latest estimates on delivery dates. The money wasn't taken for my order until it came in and I knew my order had not been forgotten - most important aspect of customer service. Well done! I shall shop again at Harrod for my husband's gardening gifts!”

“I have ordered through Harrodsburg Horticultural for several years. The service is always excellent and usually very quick. Naturally there were some delays in delivering some goods in early 2020 due to the pandemic problems, but always there was explanation and assurance of continuing support. The hardware is always of excellent quality.”

“Product purchased fine. As it should be. Only used Harrod again as using voucher received for poor service and multiple damaged goods on last purchase. Extortionate delivery charges eliminated any voucher savings though and irritated they think of Perth, Scotland as Highlands & Islands. I'd recommend they find a courier that's not trying to fleece their customers. Last time I buy from this company.”

Thank you for your order and review. We would like to explain the situation regarding delivery and prices across the country. As the range of products that we manufacture and supply is so diverse in size and shape, we have to rely on couriers, to deliver the vast majority of our orders. To calculate the delivery tariff, our carriers split the country into various zones governed by postcodes and unfortunately, delivery to some areas attracts an extra charge. We realise this is not an ideal situation but as our trade increases, we hope to be able to reduce this charge so deliveries to the whole of the UK mainland cost exactly the same. If it is any consolation, we do not add a surcharge to the figure our couriers charge us; in fact, we subsidise the £15.95 delivery cost on every order. Wherever possible, we try to send our products by Royal Mail or similar postal services but, as we mentioned above, the size, shape and weight of many of our products precludes this. We hope this is of help to you and thank you again for your order.

“The Access FBG Growhouse is an excellent quality product, already providing a bright spacious growing environment for our allotment seedlings. I was immediately impressed with the build quality of this product and the fact that detailed printed assembly instructions are provided. Unlike so many flat pack furniture items and appliance instructions today, which only provide pictures, these included detailed text for the sequence. The manufacturers, Access, also offer a series of comprehensive online videos. Although, I did note some very slight variations in the sequence between the video and the printed version. One other minor observation; I'd consider installing the 'L' brackets (feet) onto the vertical legs earlier in the process; you either have to invert the entire frame, when assembled, or install them at the base of the legs in situ. This is to avoid moving the frame out of alignment.”

“This item, a birthday gift, was delayed because of the supplier but you only told me of the delay when I phoned to find out where it was. As it was then due to arrive after the birthday, I phoned and asked you to deliver it, not to me but to my friend’s house. I was told you would arrange this. So I wasn’t impressed when it was delivered to me.”
