“Excellent products, well made, well packaged. Ordering was easy and the delivery was as expected. I have ordered various products from Harrod horticultural and all have been great quality. I would definitely recommend them.”

“The compost bins were well designed and easy to assemble and they look good. However, the instructions need to emphasise the importance of centralising/lining up the plates on the wooden planks otherwise it become harder to insert and remove planks. Also the quality of the materials was not good - warped and knotted planks were common and two of my uprights were missing a large chunk of wood (knots). These compost heaps will not last beyond 10 years and that is not good.”

“Could not be worse. Promised delivery 4 different days, each time phoned up to be told wouldn’t arrived that day and reschedule a couple of days later - and then it didn’t come! This saga went on for over 3 weeks. Promises of actions and call backs never met. It was a farce.”

“Ordered metal raised beds which were despatched very quickly but unfortunately I had big problems with the courier who kept delaying delivery. I spoke to Harrod Horticultural who kindly despatched a new set of raised beds by a different courier and I received them the following day.”

“I ordered my product on the phone only to be emailed to say the product was out of stock. That should have been evident when I ordered surely? I’d ordered on the phone to check delivery time as I was going away. Being out of stock meant delivery was unpredictable. I made sure to explain where to put the product ( a large bird feeding station) but the instructions weren’t written as I asked and the courier didn’t follow the instructions anyway. The large product was left propped up outside my front door while I was away for a few days. Very disappointing both from the instructions I gave over the phone to the ignoring them by the courier. The product itself was disappointing in that it’s an expensive bird feeding station but not designed to fit with bird feeders on sale in this country. Very disappointing. There is nothing on the website to show or say feeders will not easily hang from it. You should stock feeders that fit. The photos show feeders hanging from it. The purchase was a gift for a senior friend who will have no chance of attaching bird feeders the way the product is designed.”

Sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the bird feeder. It has been designed to take 3 bird feeders up to 40cm high, which can be hung from the hooks. “Instructions were inadequate. Strapping plates were missing. Some parts had been bent /scratched in transit. Phoned customer services and asked if there was a video link. Jack promised to send one and didn't. Found it myself and that too was inadequate. Customers need to know putting the raised metal garden together is not a quick job. It takes hours and hours. Strapping plates turned up yesterday after i called Thursday the week before. Wouldn't buy another one and customer services couldn't help.”
