“We bought a strawberry cage which was easy to fit”

“Received most items very quickly. Some items were out of stock, but I received regular emails updating me on new stock arrival and when they would be despatched. So at least you weren't left wondering what was happening, unlike a well known daily offers website!”

“First time i have used the company. Ordering was easy, delivery was good and the product (cherry tree sleeves) have been very good. I found the 'ties' a little fiddly to put on and if my tree were not a miniature variety, I think I would have struggled to put them on by myself and also they would not have been long enough to go round the branches. I have to say that I improvised and eventually used clothes pegs to secure the ends away from the trunk which actually did a brilliant job of not squashing the leaves and fruit. Great idea and at last I have managed to have some cherries before the birds got them!!”

“Very please with the Fruit Cage now it is up but it took us 8 hours to put together(we had a very big one). It was very well packed and arrived very quickly once despatched. The instructions could be clearer with the poles marked individually, we had to keep measuring to see which ones fitted where. By the time the poles have been sunk into the ground to the level they recommend, the door does not fit. In the end my husband had to cut off the bottom which did the trick. The part to close the door had a part missing again, he found something else to use instead. We could have asked them to send another but just wanted to finish it. It is very sturdy and strong and my blackcurrants, raspberries are now well protected from the birds at last. Would recommend but you need patience to erect it.”

“I bought the Slot and lock Bean Frame. A very sturdy and durable-looking piece of gardening essential which should last for years. But, Oh, the instructions!. Written by engineers/designers for other engineers. In the end, I put them on one side and did my own thing .which seems to be very stable. Were the instructions ever tested with unsuspecting end-users or just launched into the world? Exasperating and detracted from an even better score.”

“I bought allotment slatted compost bin , which was easy to put together despite no instructions . I would suggest using wood glue to secure the slats in place . This will make it easier to move at a later date if necessary .”

“We are now proud owners of a beautiful gothic pergola. Lovely looking structure although slightly more challenging to assemble than we had originally planned - 6 hours instead of 2 but that's because we muddled up the pieces!!”

“Have not caught the rabbit I was expecting, but a squirrel instead. Cage seems robust. A bit fiddly to set the trap, but not too difficult. Work out how you want to release / terminate pests from the cage before using in order to deal with things quickly and humanly. A slice of apple seems good bait. A good product for the price.”

“Was very pleased with quality of fruit cage and parts and delivery. The only confusing thing was the parts list had numbers, but these numbers were not shown on the fitting instructions, so construction took a lot longer than necessary.”

“Great netting instant results no birds or butterflies can get any where near my hard work now , only minus was the net entry strips , fitted to the poles but not easy to suss how to install properly so haven't installed them or risked cutting the net , these were a waste of money !”
