“Items I bought are cheaper elsewhere ,but free delivery (because I had made a recent purchase ) and prompt delivery made it more convenient.”

“Allotment raised beds are very good quality (although quite expensive, probably worth it). Delivery was not up to Harrod Horticultural's normally excellent standards (delayed and poor information regarding despatch).”

“The compost bin will be a very good replacement for my old "ex-pallet" container which was homemade and after many years rotten. Your allotment product is superior in all ways and if the compost results are as good as I had with my old one I shall be more than satisfied. Thank you for your prompt response to my order which arrived in excellent packed order.”

“Delivery a joke. Not HH's direct fault but surely there are more reliable carriers? I bought link beds. Would have been useful if someone had read my order and got back to me as I ordered too many of one component, and not enough of another. Instructions scant. You know, you can use the back of the sheet of paper to expand the instructions. What's is the illustration bottom right supposed to show? Shameful in view of modern technology. Why would anyone order a straight link except to join two lengths? So why not incorporate the holes necessary in the manufacturing process rather the client struggle?”

“Goods despatched & delivered promptly. My only criticism is that promotional emails are received far too frequently, almost daily, such that I'm likely to ignore them or consider unsubscribing. Once or twice per week would be more reasonable.”

“The items I ordered were expensive. A plant support and two obelisks and a metal trellis panel however the quality and size of the items was exceptional, I also liked the fact that very sturdy pegs were supplied with the obelisks to fix them securely to the ground. They will look lovely when clematis and rose grow into them.The reason I have given four stars is the items weren't in stock and I had to wait for them and wasn't really kept informed of delivery dates.”

“Received on time .. I did ring up to replace item, but couldnt be bothered in the end although no problem with doing that. Had a rough handle on my trowel , but my son rubbed it down which took seconds n also gave it a quick coat of lacquer, my own choice of preserving the handle if I leave outside .. Wanted a trowel like this for AGES ! Very nice ..hope to use for the rest of my life daily!”

“I was very happy with my recent order, with regard to the ordering process online, the delivery arrangements and information, and the product itself. However, I have subsequently had to unsubscribe from Harrod's email list. I had been getting emails at a sensible rate (every few weeks at most) but after my order I was inundated with endless repetitive emails. This has been counterproductive - I will not see further information from Harrod's, and I'm unlikely to make further orders in the near to medium term if I am to be bombarded with unwanted emails once again.”

“Greenhouse Staging - Two Tier Read the instructions twice then set about construction. Following the guide and keeping the nuts loose on the bolts I was able to put the ensemble, (5' 8'' length) together on my own. Already constructed a wooden perimeter base to the size of my greenhouse (8' length) and filled with pea shingle so the Aluminium Greenhouse Staging Foot Plates came in handy to distribute the load and maintain stability. Really pleased with the finished product all trays/pots stored on the bottom slats and seedlings, cuttings and plants on the top trays, even managed to get an old stereo system next to it!”

“OK so far but I haven't build the fruit cage yet. However I am absolutely fed up with the marketing emails. Far too many & I have not read one of them. A real turn off.....”
