“Order was fulfilled promptly with no problems this time round, and spade as expected. Have ordered tools previously which turned out to have a manufacturing fault, but the tool was replaced promptly with no quibble. Hence I was very happy to place another order, paying only a small premium over the cheapest price otherwise found online.”

“Very fast delivery, given e-mail to say when delivery would be made and the delivery guy always cheerful and helpful with the delivery. I made several orders over a few weeks but never any problems. Will be using Harrod Horticultural again”

“The people I spoke to on the phone were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, although the delivery people said they would arrive between 11 and 12 but in fact arrived at my allotment at 10.30 and were cross that I wasn't there. I got there as quickly as I could (within 10 minutes) but because they only had a 15 minute slot to do the delivery they just dumped everything on the pavement and i didn't have time to check it properly. It was a few days later that I realised that two of my raised bed kits hadn't been delivered. (The 4 that were delivered are fine and were easy to put together.) The fruit cage was very difficult to put up - the first man I asked (someone I had used for lots of other jobs) gave up and I had to get someone else. He reported that the instructions were really hard to follow and, although it's now up and looks okay, we seem to have quite a few bits of kit left over.”

“Just finished erecting my fruit cage and found it extremely easy to do. Instructions were good and all the bits were present & correct! Very pleased with the final result, but I don’t think the birds will be when they discover they can’t get to my apples & cherries later this year.”
