“We are very pleased with the compost bins now that we have them constructed and in position. We would just add that some comment from you in the catalogue about time needed for construction would be useful as 500 screws is not a short job! Also we were left with only one spare screw at the finish, we think that 2 of each type spare would be better. The delivery was on time and as expected.”

“I am pleased with the quality of the cage and it has gone together quite easily. However the length of the poles at 11'6" posed quite a problem in moving them from my home to my allotment. Previous cages that I have bought have not had poles longer than 7" and these can be moved by car. I do think that prospective purchasers should be made aware of the size of the components of each cage. Its a bit late finding out when it has been delivered !”

“Certainly not the cheapest website/catalogue on the market but the service cannot be faulted. Chose to supplement order elsewhere because of price differential/product choice. The difference in service levels was noticeable.”

“Excellent service - arrived quickly and am currently putting it up in my greehouse - easy to cut and fix with the appropriate clips for aluminium frames. Usful size to get the job done with fewest joins. So far it is keeping the frosty winds out.”

“Bought a black steel obelisk. Looks fairly sturdy and so far has kept upright despite there being no method of securing the structure in the ground with pegs.”

Thank you for your recent order and review. Our Black Steel Obelisks are very robust and heavy. We would only advise adding a method of securing the structure if the site is very exposed and the plants growing on the structure are extremely voluminous. Gripples and arch fixing pins can be used to anchor the Obelisk. If you would like to order these items or require any further assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department who will be happy to help.

“The beehive composter and compost stirrer were bought as a Christmas present. The recipients were delighted with the design of the composter and practicality of the stirrer. However, due to poor weather and work commitments they have as yet not been able to construct the composter therefore have no further comments at this time. My order came very promptly and was well packaged.”

“Fantastic quality long leather gauntlets for tough garden pruning amongst thorns, brambles and similar. They stretch up to the elbow and offer really good forearm and hand protection from thorns. Sourced locally in UK as well (Shropshire)”

“We ordered two bird feeders which are said to be squirrel proof, however they are not. We have had to try to adapt them ourselves to make them more effective. The idea is good, but the finished product needs more attention in this respect”

“It was easy to find the item we wanted on the web site, its price and delivery terms. The bubble wrap was promptly delivered and although we haven't yet managed to use it - due to xmas jollifications - we've unwrapped it and it seems to be just right for our purpose.”

“Customer service department were efficient and helpful. delivery was sooner than expected, however, I did not find the delivery man too helpful I had ordered heavy items which he initially refused to deliver to the rear of my property saying that it was not company policy to do so, since I was not capable of carrying the items myself I feel that this policy need to be reviewed.”
