“Responded well to the problems. Delay in first delivery but it did arrive on time as scheduled. Replacement also arrived OK. First table had parts missing and badly distorted. Returned. Second table still not perfect still some distortion but felt it was acceptable. Disappointed as having spent a lot of money I expected perfection.”

“Only two comments, I only live 2 miles from Harrod and my item went to Norwich before coming back to Lowestoft and secondly the build instructions are confusing for the smaller frames as I thought I was short some items but is built differently.”

“Absolutely love the Southwold backless bench for my courtyard garden. As with all things from Harrod Horticultural it is fantastic quality, sturdy and looks great. My only gripe would be that when I added the cushion to my order it wasn’t clear that it is a single cushion (so I need to order another one and wait for that to be delivered!), a note stating you need 2, or a double cushion, would be helpful.”

“Pleased with the product - good quality and looks very good. Harrod Horticultural service also good - emailed me as promised when goods sent. Less happy with couriers - they were supposed to email with delivery details but didn't. It was just lucky that we happened to be in when they delivered.”

“Excellent products of good quality. I no longer order big items like cages and arches etc because Harrod Horticultural use Tufnells for delivery. The smaller items through other deliverers are excellent.”

“Should have really been a five star review, but the delivery driver was bad. Apart from that all is really well, polytunnel up and running, everything labelled well and of extremely high quality. A truly excellent purchase!”

“I ordered a portacage.It was due to arrive in two packages via Courier.The first arrived which was everything except the aluminium frame. I chased up the courier for two days and then contacted Harrod.Beverley who was very helpful ascertained that it had been damaged by the courier and she arranged for the frame to be sent out again.This arrived two days later via Tufnells but also damaged which was no fault of Harrod. Contacted Beverley who arranged for a third frame to be sent which arrived two days later with no problem. I looked at the video on line of how to erect the portacage and it showed it with corner braces. These are not supplied as part of a standard order and have to ordered separately. which is not made clear on the website. I have pointed this out to Harrod. who said they would pass the comments to their web team In fact erected the portacage very easily without them and it seems to be fine and sturdy.I think if one lived in a windy/exposed location they might be needed. Prior to purchase I had a couple of queries which were answered very efficiently by Andrew. MY expereince of Harrod customer service has been very good.I posted this review originally on Trustpilot but Harrod then requested a review so posted here as well.”

“Quality wood but I was disappointed that the pilot holes had been drilled off centre on two of the legs. I was able to cope with that but had i not noticed it would have spoiled the look. For the huge cost it was also a lot of effort to assemble and wouldnt buy another because of that.”

“Delivery was prompt and instruction easy to follow. There were a couple of small missing/incorrect items that were quickly dispatched by post. The Lrg Round Topped Hoop (Order No.1174190) was badly bend on arrival but I have been able to utilise it. I have found the the push in clips for the hoop linking rods to be loose and often falling out.”

“Plants arrived promptly and in good condition. I ordered 4-5 feet laurels for a hedge. Was slightly disappointed to find that they were all 4 feet tall - definitely none were closer to the 5 foot mark. Obviously can’t complain as they were within the description of the product, but bearing it in mind for future orders. I also ordered bone meal, which did not arrive with the plants - I bought some from a local garden centre so I could get on with planting, but the customer service team were quick to respond and it sort out.”
