Thank you for your review. As the range of products we manufacture and supply is so diverse in size and shape, we have to rely on couriers, to deliver the vast majority of our orders. To calculate their delivery tariff our couriers split the country into various zones governed by postcodes and unfortunately, delivery to some areas attracts an extra charge. Good strong side panels, appears to be well treated with preservative. However production techniques need attention. Guide holes in side panels were often way out needing re drilling to get reasonable position for screwing into corner posts. The widths of side panels varied by approx 5 mm making it awkward to get good layout with a 3 panel height. One corner post split down grain obliquely breaking off about 10 cm of the length. This is the third order that I have had over a few years so things appear to have deteriated.

Thank you for your review and your order. We are very disappointed to learn that the item you ordered did not meet your expectations. You mention that the guide holes in the planks to your Rasied Beds were out and you needed to re-drill these and also the planks varied in thickness. Timber will hold a certain amount of moisture which causes the wood to swell. Once the moisture content leaves the wood, which is usually during the summer months, it will shrink back to its standard size. We do allow for up to a 5mm tolerance in the thickness of the planks and will be updating our instructions to advise this. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. My Silk Grey Grand Round Column Obelisk was received damaged, packaging all ripped at one end. Phoned Customer services and a replacement was arranged and when it arrived all the packaging was intake and not damaged. When we decided to build the Obelisk and unpack the replacement, I was very disappointed to find the new one was even more scratched than the first one. The quality control in the workshop needs to be made aware of the scratched paint and dented products that are being sent out to customers. I wanted to buy British and it is a shame this happened.

The products are excellent, worth 5 stars. But the packaging was completely inadequate, worth 1 star only. A single paper bag for two (expensive) edge tools. They were loose inside and were able to bang around against each other. The loppers had a plastic point protector which had come off. A little strapping or bubblewrap well applied would have been sufficient.

Usually v ery satisfied but my last order fell short of that. The cold frame I purchased was slightly damaged. Not sufficient to warrant the bother of returning it but nevertheless disappointing and hopefully my smsll repair will fix things Ok.

nothing special but no real problems. Bit of a mix up with the stock listing and they did not really make much effort to inform me of when I might receive my order but it was leading up to Christmas. After some prompting it arrived in time and the staff over the phone were friendly so I would use again if the price is right.

These have been bought as Christmas presents. I am disappointed with the width of the expensive 'leaf' rake...maybe I didn't notice the width...presuming it to be a decent size. This one may be returned in favour of a wider bulldog rake, but I know my son would prefer a metal one!

1. Delivery did not go to plan. I requested that if we were out, the package would be left through our side gate. Instead we got a card telling us it had been taken back to the depot 8 miles away. (The internet form has a box for entering instructions, but is limited to far too few letters to be very useful, and the brief message was not passed on to the courier). 2. On assembly, we found that one of the panels had a significant dent in it due to inadequate packaging.

I bought from Harrod Horticultural solely because they are the sole on-line supplier of Sneerboer tools which are excellent. The fact that Harrod Horticultural choose to use a courier who charges a premium to deliver to Aberdeen means I will not be shopping with them again as I have a choice of horticultural suppliers who do not penalise me for living in mainland Scotland and not even in the Highlands. Harrod's may want to look again at the couriers and consider Yodel, DPD or Parcelforce then they may grow their customer base around the oil capital of Europe!

Thank you for your order and review. You comment on the cost of delivering an order to an AB postcode. We would like to explain the situation regarding delivery and prices across the country. As the range of products we manufacture and supply is so diverse in size and shape, we have to rely on couriers, to deliver the vast majority of our orders. To calculate their delivery tariff our couriers split the country into various zones governed by postcodes and unfortunately, delivery to some areas attracts an extra charge. We realise this is not an ideal situation but as our trade increases, we hope to be able to reduce this charge so deliveries to the whole of the UK mainland cost exactly the same. If it is any consolation, we do not add a surcharge to the figure our couriers charge us; in fact, we subsidise the £15.95 delivery cost on every order. Wherever possible, we try to send our products by Royal Mail or similar postal services but, as we mentioned above, the size, shape and weight of many of our products precludes this. We hope this is of help to you and thank you again for your order.

The press itself is fine but I was very disappointed in the fact that the straining bag didn't come with it. Its in the photo so one would be right in assuming that it comes with it. A minor inconvenience you might think but when i ran Harrods to obtain one i was told that you haven't got any and don't do them anymore. The press had to be used with an old pillow case, so would i order from Harrods again.. No.

The products are good, and the end result looks fine. But a couple of problems that you may need to address, - assuming that there will be other first-timers buying these. 1. The end of the fence needs a much sturdier fixing. If there is any spring in the fence the plastic insert pulls out, no matter how much twisting is done. We solved it by filling the small gap between the end of the fence and the garage wall jamming the end post in tight. 2. The instruction sheets are not clear enough. Take each action separately down the page and describe each piece clearly to go with the drawings. 3. No explanation of how to fix a gripple. I had to google the manufacturer to find out how it was done. Do not assume the purchaser is an expert. It is better to treat everyone as morons in these situations.

A longer flex would be better. Some marking about real/approx temperatures eg:frost protection mark on knob/case would be very useful.

Whilst the bubble wrap is very good, I was expecting it to be more substantial than it was, particularly as one of its intended uses was to make some large cloches.

Delivery times are slow compared with other companies and providers.- about 10 days as opposed to 2-3 The products are good, and reasonable value
