“We have bought excellent plant supports from Harrod so didn’t hesitate to order an arch from them which arrived promptly. Once we had put up the arch the bitter disappointment set in. The quality is poor as the arch is of B and Q quality despite the RHS recommendation. The arch piece fitments attaching the arch to the uprights are so badly fitting that my husband can lift off the curved section with one finger! We had to move the arch slightly and it distorts terribly. Not sure this is going to survive one North Wales winter but now it is in the ground we can’t send it back. Very flimsy for more than £400.00.”

“I added a third vegetable cage (All bought at Harrod H). Easy to order. Good price. Not cheap but quality materials. Quick delivery. Easy to erect. 100% from me and Thanks.”

“I have always found Harrod Horticultural to be one of the best firms on the web . I unfortunately had some problems this time with damaged goods but they were replaced very quickly and with no fuss . My only gripe is that they use staples . I have been told that this is the safest way to seal everything so nothing is lost but it would help if the customer could open the pack . I had to ask my father to open my packs and even he had to use a knife !! Highly recommended if not a little expensive .”

“I placed an order on 28/6/19 and had an email confirming delivery would be in 3 to 5 working days. On 1/7/19 I had an email saying it had been delayed and would now be available (for dispatch presumably) on 5/7/19. On 8/7/19 I had an email saying it had been delayed again and would now be available on 12/7/19. I cancelled the order.”

We understand the delays with your order caused great inconvenience for you and we were as disappointed as you with the delays. The products themselves are manufactured in-house but unfortunately, we were let down by our suppliers of the raw material which we source externally. “We recently took delivery of a small lean-to greenhouse. It arrived from the factory a matter of days after ordering it through Harrod Horticultural. The whole experience from using the website to receiving the goods was very good, and the self-assembly was trouble free as there were no parts missing and the detailed instructions were fine. Overall an excellent level of service.”

“Arrived a little earlier than expected - which is good, and came in excellent packaging; only just started using so have to wait to see how good at composting it is but already the heat inside is excellent and the breakdown has already been rapid.”

“We are delighted with our terracotta cane toppers, just the job in out mainly-container garden. We'll be buying more for Christmas presents for gardening friends. Excellent service throughout - they were out of stock but Harrod kept me informed up to and including despatch.”

“I ordered Nemaslug to be delivered in the week beginning 5 August as I was going to be away for the previous two weeks. On my return I found that had already been delivered (but of course not refrigerated as there was nobody here) and had a Use By date of 31 July.”

“Such wonderful products were ordered However, appalling service. 2 deliveries were lost in transit. Took over 3 weeks for delivery to arrive, after numerous contacts and Harrod Horticultural placing blame on the courier service! Appalling service with indifference and no apology.”

“This Bird Netting is not all it's claimed to be. I bought a large piece of bird netting 12m X 12m to cover my raspberry canes. I have found several small birds inside the net almost on a daily basis when the raspberries were ripe. I have gone inside the net to try to free the birds but they just fly to a corner then push through it and fly away! Not what I expected for a £100+ net!!!”
