“My allotment raised beds arrived on time and were exactly what I expected and wanted”

“Raised beds (four) well packed and delivered as specified. However, some of the wood is pretty ropey. In particular, two planks have areas of rotten wood which will presumably shorten their life. These planks should not have passed quality control. I intend to remove the affected wood and use wood filler and then paint before assembly.”

“Cold frame ordered. The quality of our aluminium cold frame is excellent. I particularly liked the thought in the design to make it easy to assemble, such as all the glass pieces being the same size.”

“I was happy with the time taken to deliver the plants. I was disappointed with the size of the marjoram plants as they were the reason for my order. I was also disappointed with the parsley that didn't survive the first week. Rather a lot of money for what I received all things considered. I am unlikely to make further purchases or to recommend. Sorry. Regards”

“I ordered new poles for my brassica cage as the older ones had buckled under snow. Ordering was simple, they came quickly, were as described and were easy to assemble. I won’t know until after the autumn storms how well they survive.”

“Delivery was fast and the items were well packed. I made a mistake and ordered the same product twice. Jarrod Horticultural noticed the error, emailed me promptly and refunded the second payment. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends.”

“I had this idea to create a frost resistant tunnel to keep vulnerable plants through the winter. I found exactly what I was looking for in the Harrold catalogue. I received the parts I ordered quickly and having assembled a tunnel I now await next spring to see the result having maintained a periodic check on things to make sure all is well.”

“Ordered wooden beds and hoops with covers to match. After assembling the beds and realizing that the hoop covers never showed, I was told that ordering the covers were never an option (they were, I ordered them) and furthermore, even if I wanted to order them separately, the size of bed I selected was not popular and they had nothing in that size. Disappointing experience, will never order from Harrod again.”

After checking we can confirm that regrettably the size of fitted cover you require has now been discontinued from our range of products. This was not available at the time of your order and the cover had been removed from our website, a hoop kit only was selected. We understand that our Customer Services Team have been contacted and they have advised that you are very welcome to return the hoop kit if this is unsuitable.
