“The website is very easy to find things on and although my choice was not in stock I didn’t have to wait very long for it and it arrived, very well packaged, when it was supposed to. I am very happy with my garden obelisks, they are very well made, really strong and look great.”

“Plant fleece is brilliant for dressmakers! Yes its true. I read a dressmaking blog about tracing dressmaking patterns onto garden fleece (which is semi transparent). This produces a robust pattern piece that can be altered, pinned and sewed as an aide to fitting before actually cutting into the expensive fashion fabric. I searched local garden centres, but their stock was of poor quality and tore easily, so I emailed Harrod's with my unusual enquiry. They were outstanding in answering my questions and sent me a sample. Just wish I had discovered this stuff 40 years ago. Pass the word to all the dressmakers you know. Many thanks Harrods.”

“Harrod provided a swift and efficient delivery service. The product purchased (plastic raised vegetable beds) we thought a little expensive when compared to other brands, however they were easy to construct and we should have them for several years as hopefully they will not deteriorate as quickly as wood based beds.”

“First time customer, I purchased the rusted rose trellis which really is sturdy and looks much grander than black, also not so noticeable on an old brick wall. I do wish the hooks weren’t shiny Crome which do stand out but we can’t have it all. This trellis will certainly outlive me so worth every penny. I do need two more this summer so will return. Communication from Harrod Horticulture plus delivery were very good and accurate.”

“The aluminium fruit cage was relatively easy to assemble, the instruction manual pretty clear, but how does one stop door sag?”

“The niger seed feeder looks nice but after more than 3 weeks it hasn't attracted any gold finches. 2 gold finches visited our old sunflower heart feeder for the first time but they haven't plucked up the courage to move on to the niger seed. I fear the cage is too bright and shiny.”

“Very speedy delivery on order of netting for my fruit beds. This netting is nice and strong and has squares big enough to let the bees and pollinating insects through but not birds. I have no doubt the birds will do their best to find their way in, but it wont be through the netting!”
