“contact and prompt replies good. the big problem is with the propagator. you think it is satisfactory. it is not.. the lights sit on top and are not secured and therefor can be damaged. also this means that you have to take lights off everytime you wish to enter the propagater. I am a disabled person and do not find this satisfactory. you offered return of propgater but by this time I had lettuce and tomatoe seedling in. if I had the choice I would have returned the propagater. this would have meant a loss of the early start I had planned. I asked a few fellow gardeners who agreed with my findings. this may not be the reply you expected from a disapointd customer.”

It is company policy to keep our website and our customers as up to date as possible regarding stock availability and we will be investigating this issue fully with the relevant department. We are also sorry to hear that you encountered during the delivery of your goods by one of our carriers. It is frustrating for us when this happens because we cannot directly affect this part of the service when the goods leave our warehouse. Our carriers are regularly reviewed and we would like to reassure you that we only experience a small percentage of deliveries with issues. “After much hesitation and thought I eventually made a decision on the type and size of the vegetable cage I wished to buy (there are so many alternatives) and submitted my order. The order was received very swiftly, excellently packed with good supporting documents. I have just finished preparing the site for the cage and have started placing the components in position and reading the helpful instructions carefully. So far all has gone well and to plan, (apart from Storm Ciara arriving). I am looking forward to completing the cage and preparing the ground inside the cage for planting. Very pleased with my purchase at this stage.”

“Brilliant Service. After being let down by another firm 4 days before Christmas I luckily found Harrod Horticultural, Their service was 2nd to none. After ordering I phoned to make sure they had the product (Rhubarb Forcer) and they could deliver on time. The customer service dept were fantastic, the order arrived the next day and it is perfect. Would 100% use them again. Thank you, Helen Webb”
