“The nematodes I ordered arrived in good time.I phoned to ask some advice and was dealt with speedily and efficiently. I also purchased staging for my poly tunnel which my husband and I erected easily.It seems to be good quality and has certainly done what we needed and aided our planting and propagation. I would be happy to use Harrod again.”

“My order was delivered promptly and I was pleased with the plant support wire and the gripples. I realised I had not ordered enough wire and at the same time received an email from you offering a 10% discount on my next order. I quickly ordered more wire and applied my discount code but was disappointed at checkout as I was charged full price, I continued with my order as I needed the wire. Obviously something not quite right here with accepting the discount code hence the "good" rating.”

“I think that the cages are very good - simple and (so far) effective but probably a bit over-priced for what they are. I think it would make erection simpler/more secure if the poles had holes for the screws to go into so that there is no potential for slippage. Mine have slipped a couple of times and it requires a very tight screw up to avoid this.”

“I am pleased with the stand I bought except that it feels a little unsteady so have had to fasten it to a support .I put strawberries in and they are doing very well and won't get dirty so from that point of view it is just what I wanted.It just needs to be more robust if it is to stand on its own.”

When you (as a business) do this, I shouldn't need to write a review. Also, this came because you know that the service was good. I wonder if I would have been asked for a review if anything had gone wrong with my order!”

“Lovely quality item, very substantial. A very good bit of kit. I hadn't clocked that it hadn't got a back and it does say "high quality glass all round". As we live in an old stone railway building it doesn't go snug to the wall but I can put something behind for the winter.”

“Harrods - Good company. Product 3 Bay Slot together wooden compost bin with 3 lids - was an absolute nightmare to construct. It took three full days with electric screw driver and power drill being constantly re-charged. Why? Because I had drill 410 pilot holes accurately and screw in 410 screws! If I had known the hassle I would not have chosen that maker's product. My original 3 Bay slot together wooden compost bin was the exact same dimensions but different maker. However, it needed not one single hole drilled or screw fitted! Buyers beware. Harrods please warn them. I would not have bought had I known.”

“Very pleased with the staging although the diagrams were not easy to follow, bu on the third attempt, we cracked it! Perhaps one has to make allowances for our age. ie. 75 and 76!”

“Overall product quality and price good. However pre drilled holes must have been done by a trainee, or on the wrong jig - Only 50% lined up, remainder required re drilling. And this was not me getting the pieces the 'wrong way up'. Most of the misalignment was caused by the holes being at an angle through the wood, rather than at right angles to the face”

“The finished article is very good but the instructions are not easy to follow. Some advice on how to cope with a sloping site would be helpful. The converter blocks are fiddly to assemble. It has already stood up well to high winds.”
