“All very good and timely delivery”

“I have 5 of these large supports, I grow dahlias and they often grow to seven feet high, these supports work very well, and often disappear in the foliage. In previous years we have high winds my dahlias have suffered, but now these supports hold them well. the delivery is fast. They are not cheap but after trying all sorts of other supports I have now found the perfect one. I usually buy one a year.”

“Thank goodness, Harrod’s staff are as high-quality as their products. For years, we have messed around with different, bamboo-cane-based ideas for our sweet peas - they’ve always been too small, in truth, so it’s fantastic finally to have a solid, elegant, tall base in which to base that wonderful set of plants”

“We have been very pleased with Harrod Horticultural every time we have bought from them. Our latest purchase, a support system for Autumn raspberries was easily assembled and is already doing a good job. Excellent service and quality product again.”

“i have bought two raised beds, one last year and one this. Both had defective parts in the form of badly cracked wooden pieces. Both should have been picked up by quality control but weren't. in addition a base panel was cracked in transit. Although this could be put down to the courier the item was packed in a flimsy bag and it was hardly surprising that it was damaged. in both cases I rang customer services, was asked to send a photo and a replacement was then agreed. In neither case did there seem to be any urgency in putting things right - last year's replacement part was sent by 3day courier which is very poor when I was waiting to complete the job. Harrod's attitude to quality control is perhaps best illustrated by a phrase in the instructions for this year's purchase: "Support rails are safety critical - inspect for imperfections before assembling". Surely they should have been checked for imperfections before being sent out! I don't mind paying a premium price for a premium product but that's not what I got on either occasion. I shall not be buying again.”

“We bought a heated windowsill propagator from Harrod, because it’s a company we trust to stock high quality horticultural products. We are really happy with it. We used it to germinate seeds, with great success, despite those grey, cold days of March & April in Yorkshire. Excellent service and advice from Harrods.”

“I was very happy with the speed of delivery of my poly tunnel. The wedsite warned that there may be a 6 week delay, but the tunnel arrived the next week. Even better I saved over £150 by buying the item from HH rather than going to First Tunnels”

“This garden bench was a gift for me and I'm delighted with it. Good quality wood, well constructed. I like the shaped backrest and together with the curved seating area, it's very comfortable to sit on. Really enhances my garden, adding an extra dimension. I have the very handy foldable side table too. Very pleased.”

“We ordered two 6x4 standard raised beds 18" high. They arrived quickly, with clear, simple instructions. They were built up by my husband in no time. They have now been filled with a mixture of topsoil and compost, ready for planting. The wood looks very good quality and value for the money we paid, and I'm sure we'll get many years of enjoyment growing our own veg. I would recommend this company to family and friends.”
