“I have bought 4 raised beds from Harrod Horticultural. I found them well designed and easy to assemble. I found the rectangular frame and fitted nets the most helpful. With curved nets, brassica leaves touch the nets and cabbage whites lay eggs on the leaves which are soon stripped bare by the caterpillars. With the rectangular nets the cabbage whites flutter in frustration above them. They can't reach the leaves.”

“Service was excellent as usual. I ordered the 60cm plant supports as I couldn't get the Y stakes I usually use. The new ones are interesting as I found I had to "screw" them into the ground around my now mature plants. They seem to work well at holding them up. Fortunately, the recent rain has helped get them into the ground and work more effectively.”

“Parcel was extremely heavy and driver refused to take package into garage that is attached to house Fortunately I had a painter on site who managed to take it in but thought the driver was a “miserable sod” I had no idea when the delivery was expected other than it had been dispatched”

“So pleased I came across this company. The service is brilliant and they sell some amazing products. The popadome I bought was so easy to put up and is really sturdy. The copper tape around the base has functioned well too. I’ve now bought a second one and the fleece. Can’t praise the popadome or Harrod enough.”

“Really pleased with my large metal raised bed. I bought it to fill with plants on a raised deck and it makes an impressive focal point. The delivery was fast and efficient. Only difficulties were with construction as the screws, nuts etc were all located within the planter. It was fiddly to put together, but we got there in the end!”

“I purchased two items from Harrod’s. A green mesh to protect my greenhouse form severe sun and this year a mesh to protect brassicas from cabbage whites. Harold’s warned me that there might be some delay to the arrival of the green house mesh due to Covid restrictions in 2020. Nevertheless it still arrived in time to protect my tomatoes etc. It also fits perfectly. The brassica mesh has performed superbly and I have not suffered any incursions. Both meshes are still in excellent condition after usage as they are very good quality products.”
