“the product took 6 weeks to arrive , with no explanation really why it was delayed . when contacting the company to find out where it was , was told that it had arrived and will be delivered week after and then when it didnt rang again and was told it was not in .”

“With high demand for raised beds my order delivery date was put back twice, but I was kept fully informed. Everything arrived safely and well packaged. Clear instructions made assembly very easy. The materials are of a good quality.”

“The delivery process was not really good enough, I ordered 4 raised bed, the first arrived in two consignments even though sent together. The last three arrived together 6 days after being told they would arrive and after having been out of stock for several weeks despite being given dates when they would be dispatched. In the meantime I had made a fifth raised bed from materials bought from a builders merchant. Customer services were prompt in their reply but what I needed was the goods.”

“Bean support frame: we think the instructions could have been more detailed, with a "step by step" list. It would help with getting the various elements together in the right order. Also fitting the grub screws into the holes of the connectors was very fiddly (especially for old hands). Nevertheless, it has been assembled successfully - now we shall have to wait for the 2nd planting of beans to appear, the first lot got zapped by the frost!”

“Bought a 4ft manger style raised growing bed, and the polythene/netting cover. The manger is good, sturdy and reasonably straightforward to assemble (we had all the required parts and the instructions were OK). If this was all I was reviewing, it would be 5*. The cover was a different story. The ordering arrangements on the website were confusing and, it turns out, this was because it was out of stock. A couple of phone calls were required to resolve this and, eventually, we could order the right thing over the phone. It too looks robust. However, the two hoops supporting it are not rigid enough to keep a tight fit at the top of the cover causing it to bow inward. This traps rain and leaves folds which might eventually crack. I have lashed up a separator cross piece between the two hoops which straightens up the cover a bit so we shall see how it lasts”

“I am very happy with my garden bench recent purchase from Harrod. But I am not impressed with my contact with them. I have requested an paid vat invoice/ receipt for my records and it did not come with the delivery and has not been sent since. I was also not impressed with the delivery company used as I received many phone calls from them ref the delivery - they were unable to give a time -am or pm, then did not deliver on the day specified, then stated the next day but again it did not arrive in the morning as stated and I had to chase them up and it did then finally arrive late that day.”
