Thank you for your order and review. We are very disappointed to learn that the item you ordered did not meet your expectations. You mention the framework to your vegetable cage is flimsy. Providing the uprights of the cage are pushed into the ground to the correct depth and the framework is erected correctly, it will be sturdy enough. All sizes of cage are thoroughly tested for strength in the design process. To help with cages situated where strong winds are likely we do offer bracing to fix to the framework. “Moth trap received within two days of ordering - very quick. However, there were no instructions on how to assemble it or how to use it. I queried this and had a quick reply on 8 May: "We can confirm that we are currently dealing with your enquiry with the relevant department, and will get back to you as soon as possible." I'm still waiting five weeks later.”

“Goods arrived when expected and in good condition. I wanted a barrier to keep carrot root fly away from my carrots. To be honest I thought your ready-made carrot root fly barrier looked a bit expensive, so I bought some veggiemesh to make my own and save money. While I have made a reasonable job of it, suffice it to say that I can now see why you charge what you do! Next time I will buy it ready made.”

“I ordered 10 summer purple broccoli which took so long to arrive that they were completely dehydrated and all the leaves were either yellow or had fallen off. I emailed customer service, and was told that my complaint would be forwarded to the Nursery department. I still haven't heard back from them. I won't be ordering anything from Harrod again, and I certainly won't recommend them to anyone”

“Really like the raised bed- sturdy & well made. Also bought the capping which is a bit heavy looking for my small bed so just use the caps for the posts. Looks good & I'm v pleased!”

“A very broad variety of items on sale and just about the only place on the internet where I could find what I needed. In this case it was butterfly netting to a cut length! I ordered 3m and received a generous length for a great price with high quality and timely delivery. Well satisfied.”

“Purchased two Popadomes to protect vegetable raised beds from predation and local cats. Assembly easy, and light to move around. The zipped entrance gives easy access for weeding. Experienced some strong winds after installation which resulted in some of the tent pegs being pulled out of the ground, but that could be solved by stronger pronged pegs. Very pleased with purchase.”
