“I wanted a Squrell prove birds feeder. You supplied exactly that. Good service”

“I did find the instructions could have been better. Some alternatives need to be considered when you are working in an enclosed area because trying to build the roof first was not really an option so we had to take that in sections once the sides were built. One of the middle/end connectors broke placing this in the roof stakes and no spares are included which I think needs to be added in case you do find a part is broken.”

“My three rusted obelisks are perfect. They look elegant. They are well made and sturdy. The metal ground pegs were tough enough to go deep into my stony soil ensuring that the obelisks are rock solid. I have chosen Dance de Feu, a vibrant climbing red rose for each one. These obelisks enhance a well established area of the garden.”

“Have only had a short time to try it, but it has given my plants a great start! Usually it’s a constant battle between snails and slugs for my plants and the strulch has allowed the plants to flourish. It has also retained the moisture so well, I haven’t watered this particular bed at all. I still have to see how well it handles the allotment as that is like a desert in the summer and have to be there twice a day to water, so we will see!”

“I'm very disappointed with the service we received this time, especially as it has always been so good in the past. Our order arrived with parts missing, which made it impossible to put together. In the meantime, the chickens were able to break in and destroyed the strawberry plants, the old protection having been removed to make room for the new fruit cage. By the time we were able to put it together and order the braces to finish it off, we were outside the 30 day limit for free delivery. Andrew, the customer services manager, told us that it would be honoured any way. It wasn't and it took a further phone call to sort it out. The braces themselves did not arrive and I had to phone again. When I ordered the braces, I added a pair of hinges and a latch for our old fruit cage and the woman ordered a single hinge. When I phoned up about this and asked to speak to a manager, the young woman was very high-handed and said that she could deal with everything, but had to keep putting on hold while she went to 'discuss it with a colleague'. Nothing about the service received could be described as good.”

“A problem with the length of the fittings. 60.9cm instead of 69cm. Beverley was excellent at sorting this out and eventually 4 fittings arrived the correct length.”
